Here is an opportunity for someone to join us as a Full Time Fitness Instructor.
Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Gym Instructing. Further qualifications in terms of teaching classes, life guarding and first aid would be an advantage.
A full Job Description will be sent to qualified applicants who should be aware that of greatest importance to us is that the Team all gain pleasure from delighting visitors to our Health Club including members (1260), hotel residents and guests on spa days and stays. In this respect, and in addition to responsibilities within the gym and for running classes, the job requires someone with a friendly outgoing personality, a sense of humour and a willingness to become involved in all aspects of our operation including cleaning, guest care, Club Reception and membership sales.
The normal working week is 40 hours but there are weeks when Team members are asked to work up to 48 hours; schedules are therefore managed to ensure hours average 40 hours over each 12 week period. Hours are spread over 5 days to provide full 7 day cover throughout opening hours (7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.) and include frequent week-ends and Bank Holidays, although facilities are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years’ Day.
