We are hoping to attract an enthusiastic, friendly and flexible person to join our Front of House Team as a FULL TIME HOTEL RECEPTIONIST. This is a permanent position.
The ideal candidate will have a pleasant outgoing personality along with a natural inclination to anticipate the needs of our guests and to delight them with their warmth and friendliness. They must also take great pride in their personal appearance and recognise the important part they will be playing in the team by being punctual, reliable and flexible,
Duties revolve around guest care, hotel and restaurant reservations, preparing accounts and internal communication. Good computing skills are required as are a good level of English and arithmetic. Preference will be given to candidates with previous hotel experience but this is not essential as training will be given.
In common with other leading hotels evening and week-end work is frequent as this is when our customers need us the most! A reliable means of transport to and from Fairlawns is therefore essential as working days may start as early as 7.00 a.m. and evenings shifts run through until 11:30 p.m.

Job Title: Full Time Spa Therapist.

Here is an opportunity for someone to join us as a Full Time Spa Therapist.
Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy. Further qualifications in terms of product house training, holistic therapy or spa managment would be an advantage, as would demonstration of passion of the industry.
A full Job Description will be sent to qualified applicants who should be aware that of greatest importance to us is that the Team all gain pleasure from delighting visitors to our spa including guests on spa days and stays, health club members (1260), hotel residents and treatment clients. In this respect, and in addition to responsibilities within the spa, the job requires someone with a friendly caring personality, and a willingness to become involved in all aspects of our operation including cleaning, guest care, Spa Reception and sales.
The normal working week is 40 hours but there are weeks when Team members are asked to work up to 48 hours; schedules are therefore managed to ensure hours average 40 hours over each 4 week period. Hours are spread over 5 days to provide full 7 day cover throughout opening hours (9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) and include week-ends and Bank Holidays, although the spa is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years’ Day.
