| We've just reached home after our drive and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our short stay with you this weekend.
Every member of staff we met during our stay was cheerful and helpful and left us with with the impression that they enjoyed their work and nothing was too much for their guests. We were impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel, our room, the spa and the grounds - so it is clear that the staff we didn't see are also very focused on customer care.
We particularly enjoyed our meal in the restaraunt yesterday evening and found the food and service both to be brilliant.
We hope to return for a similar stay, perhaps with some friends and family, at some time in the future and we will be confidentally recommending you to all our friends.

We were all really pleased with the facilities, the care and attention we received, the positive responses we had to last minute requests / changes and the value for money your venue provided. If you keep your prices at around the same level I can see us using you again. | I have just spent a spa night away at Fairlawns with 3 friends. What a fantastic weekend we had. The spa area is lovely and varied. The rooms were of an excellent standard and the food was delightful and so much of it!! A real treat and very relaxing. I would recommend this break to anyone and we are looking at returning later in the year. Can''t wait. |

What a splended night it was. The food was excellent - so inventive is your menu and the service was, as usual first class.

| Myself and my friend recently booked an exclusive spa stay with you and we would just like to say that we had such a wonderful time! Our room was very large and well equipped and immaculate. The spa facilities were excellent and the treatments were perfect and so relaxing - the mud chamber is so much fun! The food was just divine and all your staff are brilliant, so welcoming and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them and they were all smiling and genuinely seemed to be relaxed and enjoying their work, which makes a huge difference (you just don''t get that at every spa). Also, the package is amazing value for money. We didn''t want to leave and we will most surely be back. Many thanks for making our stay so special. |

| stayed with you 19th-21st feb, can''t praise you all enough! the food excellent, perfect, so congratulations to the kitchen staff/cooks & waiters/waitresses.even the friday night when we complained that we had been waiting for a table for over an hour they gave us a free bottle of wine, then the next evening we were given free champagne! thanks, nothing too much trouble & you are keen to please everyone & treat them like royalty. We had quite a few treatments in the spa, unfortunatley the mud chamber had broke the day we were booked in so had to have it sunday, but they also offered us complimentry lunch, which was great & free dry floatation massage.will be recommending you to everyone & will return in the near future.

| While the weather has been keeping me at home most nights, at least it has enabled me to take the time to write to you to send our compliments to your hotel and staff. In Nov 09, my two friends decided to surprise me by booking us for an overnight stay at Fairlawns Spa as an early hen night before my wedding. A chance to relax before the big day seemed a good idea.We had adjoining rooms. I have to tell you that absolutely everything about the stay was so good that I resolved to stay again. We decided to wait until after Christmas for our honeymoon, I thought it would be a perfect time to book for one of your relaxing Spa Stays, which we did from Wed 9th until Friday 11th Dec. Now I am sure you have experienced recommending something or some place to someone only to be let down but I am delighted to say that our stay was absolutely wonderful. I was very pleased that everything was (once again) perfectly clean and comfortable. The food in your restaurant was to a very high standard, the facilities were excellent and the treatments so good that my husband fell fast asleep. | We would just like to thank everybody at the hotel for the way we were looked after during our wedding day and the months leading up to it. Joanne in special events was fantastic right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. Chris looked after us brilliantly on the day especially a very nervous groom and best man. The rooms were set up beautifully and everyone commented on how lovely the food was for the main meal and the evening buffet. All of your staff are of high standard but would like to thank a couple of people especialy Attia resturant manager and Richard and Luke .
We have had a couple of family parties with you my wife was 50 and we enjoyed that and in sept, we booked the willow room and stayed over then to we had a 4 poster bed and the room was fabulous.

| I meant to write to you after we attended out spa day but somehow the weeks just drifted by.
I do a spa stay with my friend every year to celebrate our birthdays. We have tried a number of hotels and spas and I just wanted to say thank you so much for making our stay so pleasureable. I searched for ages to find the right hotel for this year was so lucky to have landed on Fairlawns. We had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was great, the food in the spa and the restaurant were excellent, the room was lovely and the treatments superb. You made two 46 year old women feel like giggly teenagers again. Out of all the hotels and spas we have been to this is on the top of our list. In fact, my friend does not want to look anywhere else for next year.
I hope all the staff at fairlawns have a happy Christmas and a Prosperous new year.

| My husband and I stayed on 12 September to celebrate our wedding anniversary on the Romantic Break. We have to say how lovely the hotel and grounds are. The bedroom was located at the spa end of the hotel and we had direct access to the spa. It was a real surprise and added bonus as we could go down in our robes and slippers and not worry about changing. We did wonder if upgrading to a superior room was worth it - I have to say we were not dissapointed. The spa facilties were very good and clean with enough space to sit or relax on the loungers and not feel crowded. The staff were extremely polite and friendly with the added touch of professionalism which just made the whole experience wonderful. We will definitely be returning to enjoy another Romantic weekend. Thank you for the added touches to our dining table - balloons and heart confetti just confirmed this hotel does like to look after their guests. |

| We attended the wedding of Nicola and Ben Freeth on Saturday 29 August 2009 as the proud parents.
We cannot praise the staff highly enough or the venue for what a wonderful wonderful day. The staff were fantastic - extremely attentive and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The venue was wonderful and the occasion went smoothly from the time we checked in on the Friday to the Sunday breakfast for the Wedding Party.

| my daughter Samantha married John Harding on the 18th July & had what can only be described as the most wonderful reception at the Fairlawns. The Food was exceptional, service excellent and venue overall stupendous. I have never been to a wedding reception where i could not fault something. From the orgaisation and planing at the start right until we left the following day, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. My daughter and her new husband were treated like royalty and were made to feel they were the most important guests the fairlawns had ever received.
I cannot praise this hotel enough and would strongly recommend it. If there was an option to rate the Fairlawns out of 10 it would get 10+++++ and more. |

A very big thank you for making my daughters wedding a very special day (18th July 2009). the Staff without exception could not do enough for us and nothing was to much trouble.
Everyone commented on what a smashing venue and how helpful the staff were. They served what was an outstanding meal with everyone milling around and were wonderful. The food was wonderful and many commented on it being the best wedding breakfast they had been served. Our daughter was so impressed with the wedding organiser he was lovely and made her feel very special. The reception staff were kind and very helpful throughout our visit and were not fazed by any request...We stayed the night with you and the rooms were very good as was the breakfast next morning.
Everything went wonderfully and this was due to the exceptional service and friendliness of all at the fairlawns staff |

| We came to you for dinner last night. WOW! We were treated so differently to the norm, a lovely welcome, a comfortable dining room, smiling staff and beautiful food. We spent three really enjoyable hours with you and when we checked out the bill realised it had cost us very little more than would have been the case if we'd gone to a pub and less than it cost us last time we went for a Chinese. In both cases the experience was over in an hour - what a waste of a baby sitter! |

| I rarely leave feedback to be honest as I find most hotels under-deliver for the prices they charge but I did feel that your hotel felt ‘different’ and it’s normally the staff and culture that make that difference. I left the feedback for your hotel as it genuinely exceeded my expectations. I hope your staff are pleased with the feedback and that you get more business too as it’s nice to be rewarded for your hard work and effort. It’s nice to share with other business travellers where the really nice places are to stay as I have found very few which offer genuine value for money.

The food was great and my gluten intolerance fully catered for. The only negative comment I have is that the Gluten free croisont are horrible don't waste money buying them I would recomment the tesco hot cross buns instead!

| We got married at the Fairlawns on Saturday 28 March 2009, and can honestly say from the first time we spoke to the Fairlawns, to the time we checked out after the wedding, we were treated exceptionally. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and kept us informed at every stage of the proceedings. Many of the guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and thought the food was wonderful. The service throughout the wedding itself was remarkable. We would definately recommend the Fairlawns to anyone, as would all of our guests. Thank you to everyone who works there, especially our wedding host Chris, for the best day of our lives. |

| I held my wedding and evening reception at the fairlawns in august 2008, it was amazing such a good day had by myself, my husband and all of our guests. The preporation for the day was wonderful all the staff made a real effort to ensure my day was how i wanted it and that it would run as smoothly as it did on the day. the food was perfect with no complaints from anyone.the staff and the fairlawns dj were spot on too. the room was great as we got upgraded to the honeymoon suite and breakfast the next morning was fresh and absolutely amazing, the spa facilities were great and we got to use them for as long as we wanted.
Thanks to all the staff for all your hard work to make it such a wonderful and memorable day for all.

| I have just got back from a stay with Fairlawns for my moms 40th birthday and we loved every second we was there. All the staff was kind and helpfull there was no end to what they would do for you. The room was clean and tidy (mom loved the bed) the food was out of this world and the spa was so relaxing we did not want to come home. | I felt I had to right to thank all at Fairlawns for a wonderful spa weekend (24/01/09 - 25/01/09). I along with 6 members of my family came to you for a girls spa weekend and came away relaxed, pampered and throughly impressed my your hotel. All the staff from reception, waiters in the resturants and especially the Spa staff couldn''t do enough for us, helpful, polite and all had a smile and joked with us.
I especially liked the little touches like the robes and towels being in the rooms (at other places we have had to queue for them and even pay a deposit).
We always go away once a year for a pamper and this was our first visit to you and we are definately coming back.
Please pass our thanks on to all staff.
Only one slight gripe !! can you please turn the heating up in the pool it was freezing !!!!

| We have just returned from a ''romantic evening''break. the whole experience was fantastic. Every member of staff we met was friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautifully clean and sparkling on our arrival. Our evening meal was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the decor is very relaxing and restful on the eye. Breakfast was great, a full english was a real treat! We have only ever had to make suggestions on one occasion on how that night could have been improved and it was rectified striaght away. | I stayed with you for the first time on Monday 3rd Dec. and was really well looked after, even when I stayed working in the bar after checking out until mid afternoon. Very much appreciated, even more so the manager giving me alift when the taxi didn''t show!
One problem: I sent several emails on the 3rd and the 4th whilst connected to hotel broadband and absolutely none of them arrived. I sent others from the same laptop and a different location with no problems. Worth checking with your broadband suppliers. |

I don''t know how much the couple organised or how much was done by yourselves but you hosted it brilliantly.I was just a guest at the wedding , an outsider looking in, but your team of staff were really great.
They worked as a team, there were plenty of them, they were all smiling, they all seemed happy, they were always pleasant when spoken to, they are a real asset to your hotel. The venue was good and the food was superb. Everything seemed to go according to plan for J
and S, I am sure they put a lot of effort in too, down to the last detail.
I could not let such superb service go by without complimenting it. If things are wrong i will always complain but equally when something is good I will praise it. Well done! |

Whilst checking in on a beautiful Saturday afternoon we were greeted with "Welcome please dump your bags and join us for a drink on the Terrace". | i recently stayed at the fairlawns with my husband for our wedding anniversary this is the fourth time of we have visited either to stay over or just for a meal in your restaurant. when we arrived we were greetad as always by freindly staff nad were told that our room had been upgraded which was a lovley suprise ! the room as always was clean tidy and well furnished,we had chocs and champagne waiting for us , the meal in the restaurant was as always fantastic. every mouthfull was delicious and as always the waitress service was brilliant . i always reccomend your hotel to everyone whos looking for something special,we will certanly be visiting you again in the near future . |

| We chose Fairlawns to host a small family party for a rather special birthday. We had a really happy gathering, with superb food and wines and really excellent - but not TOO ''fussy'' - service.
We particularly liked the way your menu delighted both the conservative tastes of my parents and the far more adventurous tastes of the other two generations.
The open fire in the Bar was most welcoming on a crisp and frosty Sunday. My Dad is in a wheelchair and was worried about coping with a couple of stairs; you took this in your stride, thought ahead and were able to help him in through a different door.
Our table was decorated with balloons and confetti.
After a lovely meal, we were not hurried from our table, but allowed to take our time.
We shall both be recommending you to friends and returning in the near future.

| I was really pleased with the welcome we received when we had our first meeting with you. As you know we had been using a Holiday Inn but we found everything at Fairlawns so much more friendly. Despite the friendliness everything was so professionally handled from the moment we arrived that none of the delegates found fault. | I just wanted to say thanks for the way you looked after us all on Mother's Day. You were really really busy but it did not detract from the service or the atmosphere. The food was fabulous too. Mum said it was the best lunch she had ever had and really appreciated the gift of the chocolates.
