You'll be made to feel welcome as soon as you step into the Fairlawns restaurnat and encouraged to relax as the Fairlawns team offer attentive service in air conditioned comfort. Comfortable seating, sound deadening carpet, elegantly prepared tables with linen cloths and napkins and light classical music set the scene for the cuisine of Midlands Chef of the Year Neil Atkins and his award winning brigade essentially English but influenced by flavours from around the world. The food is complemented by carefully chosen wines, classic and modern, many with awards and all at reasonable prices.

Traditional favourites alongside more contemporary cuisine and lighter luncheon
dishes, many available in either small or regular portions, all individually priced to
give you the choice you want. One, two or three courses (or more!) all prepared
using fresh ingredients and promptly served in either the bar, on the patio or in
the air conditioned comfort of the Fairlawns Restaurant. There's an opportunity to
choose fixed price options too.

We email you a menu in the morning, you order before noon, arrive before 1400 and
if we fail to serve you 2 courses and coffee within the hour we'll pick up the tab!

Two or three courses (your choice) offering a choice of carefully prepared fresh
ingredients (as local as possible), simply presented and served by our friendly
team.

1230 - 2030 every Sunday (excluding special arrangements for Mothering

Early, mid afternoon or late lunch served in a relaxing atmosphere throughout the
afternoon and through until early evening. Great choice of fresh food including
local beef, fresh fish and seasonal choices. Special portions for children.

Our philosophy:
Some people say "We can't drink the good stuff all the time," they are talking
rubbish! We must drink good stuff all the time because every time we drink a
bottle of inferior wine we've missed the pleasure of enjoying something special -
that opportunity is gone forever ! Good doesn't have to mean expensive either,
even if it has cost a little more then it has only cost us the difference and we
haven't wasted our time and money!
Choosing wine for you to enjoy which meets this philosophy is great fun! Visit Fairlawns and you will be offered a carefully balanced choice of style, grape variety, County of origin, and price, all from successful vintages, many of which have won major awards. Enjoy!
AA Rosettes - what do they mean
We are proud to have been awarded rosettes for fine cuisine for many consecutive
years.
Here is how the AA inspectors describe an establishment to which they award
two Rosettes:
“The best local restaurants which aim for and achieve high standards, great
consistency and where precision is apparent in the cooking. There is obvious
attention to the selection of quality ingredients.”
Our objective is to maintain this accolade and maybe one day be awarded three!
