You'll be made to feel welcome as soon as you step into the Fairlawns Restaurant and encouraged to relax as the Fairlawns team offer attentive service in our restaurant with air conditioned comfort. Our Restaurant has comfortable seating, sound deadening carpet, elegantly prepared tables with linen cloths and napkins and light classical music set the scene for the cuisine of Midlands Chef of the Year Neil Atkins and his award winning brigade essentially English but influenced by flavours from around the world. The food in our Restaurant is complemented by carefully chosen wines, classic and modern, many with awards and all at reasonable prices.
In our Restaurant there are great choices from frequently changing menus featuring fresh food prepared on the premises just for you and your guests …….
Special Dietary Requirements
The fact that we carry a wide range of fresh ingredients and prepare them on the premises gives us great flexibility and the team are always happy to do their best to accommodate special dietary requirements and to prepare dishes to suit. Vegetarian dishes are included in all menus and further vegetarian and gluten-free choices are available from special menus on request. We even produce a gluten free breakfast but do ask that this be ordered the previous evening.
Of course, it is an enormous help if we are notified of allergies and special requirements in advance.

A fresh new approach to lunch in Fairlawns restaurants
Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 1200 - 1430
Traditional favourites alongside more contemporary cuisine and lighter luncheon
dishes, many available in either small or regular portions, all individually priced to
give you the choice you want. One, two or three courses (or more!) all prepared
using fresh ingredients and promptly served in either the bar, on the patio or in
the air conditioned comfort of the Fairlawns Restaurant. There's an opportunity to
choose fixed price options too.

Business Express Lunch
Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 1200 - 1430
We email you a menu in the morning, you order before noon, arrive before 1400 and
if we fail to serve you 2 courses and coffee within the hour we'll pick up the tab!
Dinner at Fairlawns
Available Monday to Saturday evenings (excluding Bank Holidays) 7.00 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. (later service by appointment).
Two or three courses and coffee (your choice) offering a choice of carefully prepared fresh ingredients (as sustainable and local as possible) imaginatively presented and served with a smile.
Resident guests who are staying with us on inclusive, spa and romantic evening terms are offered this menu Monday – Saturday evenings. Supplementary charges for seasonal specialties or side dishes apply.

Dress Code
It is a compliment that so many people choose to join us for special celebrations and dressing up is all part of the occasion. Although we cannot expect our team to risk confrontation in enforcing a strict dress code we ask all guests to respect our request to not wear shorts, hats, sports clothing and trainers in the restaurant after 6.30 p.m.

A simple a la carte including luxurious produce: Lobster, Dover Sole, Seasonal
Game, Wild Salmon or Sea Trout, Seafood Platters when great and when in
season.

Sunday Lunch now open all day
1230 - 2030 every Sunday (excluding special arrangements for Mothering
Sunday)
Early, mid afternoon or late lunch served in a relaxing atmosphere throughout the
afternoon and through until early evening. Great choice of fresh food including
local beef, fresh fish and seasonal choices. Special portions for children.

Our philosophy:
Some people say "We can't drink the good stuff all the time," they are talking
rubbish! We must drink good stuff all the time because every time we drink a
bottle of inferior wine we've missed the pleasure of enjoying something special -
that opportunity is gone forever ! Good doesn't have to mean expensive either,
even if it has cost a little more then it has only cost us the difference and we
haven't wasted our time and money!

AA Rosettes - what do they mean
We are proud to have been awarded rosettes for fine cuisine for many consecutive
years.
Here is how the AA inspectors describe an establishment to which they award
two Rosettes:
“The best local restaurants which aim for and achieve high standards, great
consistency and where precision is apparent in the cooking. There is obvious
attention to the selection of quality ingredients.”
Our objective is to maintain this accolade and maybe one day be awarded three!
