Fairlawns is Reopening
We're getting ready to reopen our doors (but all good plans are subject to change…)
We have been looking forward to reopening and hope you will all understand reasons for our staged plan.
We have opened our doors, in stages, from Monday 6th July. Please note whilst we all get used to the changes this is on a limited basis detailed below.
Keeping you and the team safe
We want to reassure you that we will be putting measures in place to ensure both you and our team are safe. Health, safety, and hygiene have always been at the core of our values.
Strict cleaning procedures have always been in place at Fairlawns. Our team will now take extra steps to ensure all of the facilities are regularly and thoroughly sanitised. We will take all reasonable steps to follow the government's Covid-19 secure Workplace Guidelines. We will be adopting all of the social distancing, hygiene, and PPE measures that you are becoming familiar with. These will evolve as guidance changes.
We will ask the following of you, our team and our suppliers.
- Ensure you are fit and well before visiting and have not been in contact with anyone displaying any symptoms of Covid-19.
- Please ensure you are acting safely and responsibly, physically distancing from each other and using sanitisers, washing hands, and following appropriate PPE measures.
- Let’s all use common sense and support one another by bringing any concerns to our attention so they can be dealt with immediately by our 24-hour cleaning team.
We are now in Stage 1: NOW OPEN: 6th July - 26th July - Business Travellers
We are accepting online bookings to re-open for critical and business travellers on Monday 6th July.
You will be able to stay with us Monday – Thursday on a Room Only or Bed and Breakfast basis.
Bar food will be served in the evening to your bedroom or will be available in our lounge.
Stage 2: Confirmed opening date: 27th July
We re-open for all travellers on 27th July. The hotel will then be accepting bookings Monday-Saturday nights. The gym and pool facilities will be available to hotel residents on a pre-bookable basis from the 3rd August. You will be able to dine in Restaurant 178
- Check-in will be contactless, friendly, and fuss-free.
- We are moving check-in to 3pm. That way we can ensure cleaning routines are followed meticulously.
- There will be fair and flexible cancellation policies. If we have to change our opening plans or you have to change things at your end - you won’t lose out
We can’t wait to get back to looking after you, but let’s be honest we can only expect so much from our team and things are going to be different for a while.

Residents ONLY: Breakfast Tues-Thurs: 0700-1000 Bar 178 Mon-Thurs: 1700-2100
Stage 2 – 27th July onwards
Residents and non-Residents
At this stage will be serving breakfast, bar food and a simple but delicious dinner menu. We will also be opening for Sunday lunch and for Afternoon tea on Saturdays.
For everyone’s sake, we will be operating at reduced capacity so that we can observe physical distancing both front and back of house.
Sat & Sun: 0800-1030
Our breakfast buffet will not be available but you will be served a complimentary snack before your main breakfast. If you are staying you can also order a delicious breakfast to your bedroom. Please reserve your table on check in.
Monday – Saturday 12noon-9pm
Physical distancing will be strictly observed.

Serving our Market Menu to reflect the season. Items are individually priced. Residents with dinner included have an allowance towards the Market menu to treat themselves.
Planned opening date: 27th July
Officially we aim to reopen events on the 27th July. Much will depend on what the government decides. Event sizes are currently limited to small parties.
We have communicated with all upcoming events that we believe to be affected and hope to look after some of those guests before this date.

Health Club Membership & Spa Treatments
Confirmed opening date: 27th July
Our gym, pool and spa treatments will re-open on the 27th July.
Gym and pool use will be available on a pre-booked basis. Strict policies will be in place for physical distancing and facility capacities.
You are also able to book one of our Spa treatments. We are taking bookings (excluding facials) online now CLICK HERE to book.
We envisage making changes to the opening times, limiting lengths of visits, reducing changing room access and adopting physical distancing.
We can’t wait to help you meet your fitness goals and pamper yourself.
Planned opening date: 14th September
We appreciate the intimate nature of spa visits for you and for our team. For this reason we are taking things extra slow.
We aim to reopen for Spa Days and Stays from the 14th September. At the same time re-opening all of our hydrotherapy facilities and treatment types.
We look forward to helping you rejuvenate.
