Gift Voucher Queries

How do I purchase a voucher?

You can purchase a voucher in several ways. 

Online simply add the item you require to your basket, and we will process your voucher and send it our within 48hours.  All vouchers are sent Royal mail first class and you should receive it within several days. 

Pop in to the Hotel Reception open 8.00am-10.00pm, or Spa Reception open 9.30am- 5.30pm.

How is the voucher presented?

The voucher comes neatly presented with a gift card and gold gift envelope.   The voucher has details of what is included on the front of the voucher and booking information on the reverse.  Depending on the experience you may wish to request a brochure too.  

I need a voucher in a hurry.

We have all left gifts to the last minute and understand there may be an occasion where you need the voucher in a rush.  In this case please ask us to email you a temporary voucher which you can give to the recipient in the meantime.  Please note the recipient will need to wait until they have received the postal voucher in order to be able to use it as the voucher acts as payment for the experience.

How long will the voucher last?

All vouchers unless indicated otherwise are valid for 12 months on the days listed on it.  

I have not received the voucher....

All vouchers are dispatched within 2 working days, if you have not received your voucher within 5 working days please email with the voucher number, the date you purchased the voucher along with the type of voucher purchased and your name and address.  We will be able to cancel the vouchers that have been issued and reissue these for you. 

How do I book my voucher?

Booking instructions can be found on the reverse of your voucher.  We recommend booking well in advance, call 01922 455122 or email to do this.  It helps to look at the front of the voucher for an idea of what you would like to book and what days this experience is available. And note your voucher numbers to help at time of booking.  You must bring your voucher along with you at the time of booking as it acts as payment for your chosen service.

If you have monetary vouchers these are accepted like cash would be for any hotel, restaurant or spa experience so you can generaly bring them along to pay although it is always useful if you mention it on booking.

Can I exchange my voucher for another experience?

 If you have been given a voucher and wish to use it for an alternative experience please email welcome@fairlawns, with the voucher number, issue date and expiry date along with the details of what your voucher is for. And what you would prefer to use it for.  We will be able to look into it for you and provide an email honouring the value towards another experience.

Can I extend my voucher? 

If for some reason you have been unable to use your voucher please email with your voucher number, issue date and expiry date and we will be happy to look into the matter for you.

Additional notes

Vouchers can only be used in one vist and cannot be exchanged for money.  No change is given. Any supplementary items will require payment.  We understand you may need to cancel and ask that you follow the guidelines explained when making your booking to avoid any charges being made against your voucher value.

I have lost my voucher...

If you have lost your voucher please contact the person who bought you the voucher as they will have a voucher number  recorded on their receipt. 

As I am sure you understand without proof of purchase it is difficult to be able to assist so if this is not possible please try to obtain any of the following and we will try our best to help; a proof of purchase such as a credit card statement, the date the voucher was purchase and the amount spent on the voucher. 

We cannot guarantee being able to track the voucher, and unfortunately if lost if the voucher may have already been redeemed.  As this is a difficult requirement please email queries to as we cannot deal with this over the phone or in person.
