Bar 178 is the heart of the hotel - a cosy space for you to just pop in for a coffee, stop by for a bite to eat from our delicious menu, or enjoy a late-night drink and boardgames by the fire after dinner in Restaurant 178. Choose from draught beers and ales, a selection of wines and spirits, or ask the team to mix up your favourite cocktail. Guest are free to pop in and work in our bar between 8am-12pm Monday to Friday only, as long as food and beverages are being purchased from us during your visit. As this space is public, we ask that you be mindful of other guests with what you discuss and earphones must be worn for speaker/zoom calls and videos.
